National Hispanic Heritage Month – Join the Celebrations!

Hispanic Heritage Month

ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ is proud to be a Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI).

National Hispanic Heritage Month runs from Sept. 13 through Oct. 15. This is an opportunity for the nation to celebrate the achievements, histories, traditions, diversity and vibrant culture of Hispanic and Latino Americans, the country’s fastest-growing minority. Hispanics include people whose ancestors come from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.

This year’s theme is Pioneers of Change: Shaping the Future Together. Numerous celebrations at ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ have been planned to recognize the many Hispanics/Latinos who have paved the way for future generations. A full list of activities can be found on the Hispanic and Latiné Heritage Month Web page.
