Academics

The Office of Academic Advising is the initial, assigned academic advisor for these specific types of students. Students in these populations will then transition to a faculty advisor. Other majors are assigned a faculty advisor. You can locate your advisor by logging into and navigating to the "ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ Student Homepage," clicking on the "Student Center" tile, then clicking on the "My Academics" link, and finally clicking on "View my advisors" (to view your assigned advisor and/or coach, with contact information).

Leave of Absences may be taken for medical, military, or personal (unforeseen circumstances requiring time away from the college) reasons. The Dean of Students Office can assist you with any leave of absence questions you may have.

The Career Development Center can also be a wonderful resource to aid you in the exploration of careers, and therefore the exploration of majors that may allow you to work toward desired careers.

If you're looking for additional writing resources to support you as you progress through your first-year academics and then your major program, Writing @ ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ is the place for all things writing.

To officially withdraw from ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ you will use the Request for College Withdrawal Official (Do not plan to return) Form. Please contact the Registrar's Office with any questions.

Course Withdrawal for Academic Reasons

If you need to withdraw from a course for academic reasons, it's recommended that you speak to the course instructor or Department Chair. If you choose to withdraw from the course you will use the Undergraduate Course Withdrawal Form and can work with the Registrar's Office if you have any questions.

Course Withdrawal for Non Academic Reasons

Students who would like to receive consideration to withdraw from one or more courses (after the drop date until the last day of class), due to medical/personal or military related matters should use the . Please reach out to the Dean of Students Office with any questions.
