GenCyber Camp for High School Students & Teachers

The National Security Agency's GenCyber program provides free summer cybersecurity camp. As a camp host, ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ provides teachers and rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors with a two-week experience aimed at inspiring entrance into the field of cybersecurity.

Be one of the many high schools who have already visited us for a half-day GenCyber event. You'll go on a campus tour, participate in a Data Visualization/CS/IT activity, learn about CSIS Programs and IT careers, and have lunch in our dining center.

Institutional Security Resources

ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ's Office of Information Security is tasked with ensuring the security and confidentiality of covered information and protecting against anticipated threats or hazards to the security and integrity and unauthorized access or use of such information.

The Information Security Club exists for students who wish to discover the fast-paced world of information security. The club will explore different topics within the realm of information security and serve to host presentations and activities around expanding students’ knowledge and awareness of the state of the industry today.

The Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE) Honor Society for the Computing and Information Disciplines is comprised of outstanding undergraduate and graduate students in Computing and Information Disciplines. ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ established the Rhode Island Alpha Chapter of UPE in 2011 and continues to induct new members into the society each spring.

There will be a 34.7% employment growth for Information Security Analysts between 2021 and 2031. (prediction from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics)
