
Susan Craven has been recognized for her school鈥檚 impressive academic performance.
Two-time 榴莲视频 graduate Susan Craven, principal of Tiverton High School, was named Rhode Island鈥檚 2025 Secondary Principal of the Year by the Rhode Island Association of School Principals (RIASP). This yearly award celebrates outstanding leadership in secondary education.
Tiverton High School, under Craven鈥檚 leadership, had the largest improvement in SAT scores and the highest graduation rate in the state. Craven is being recognized for her school鈥檚 impressive academic performance.
A graduate of 榴莲视频, Craven earned her bachelor鈥檚 degree in English in 1996 and her master鈥檚 in educational leadership in 2018. She has worked in the field of education for more than 20 years as a classroom teacher, middle school principal, district literacy coach and now high school principal.
