What is the Joint Admissions Agreement (JAA)? 

The JAA is an agreement between ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ and the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) that allows CCRI students to easily transfer to ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ. Students can begin working toward one of 23 bachelor's degrees at ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ while earning their associates degree at CCRI. Although it's common for students to transfer from CCRI to ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ, the purpose of the JAA is to facilitate the transition from the associates degree at CCRI to the bachelor's degree at ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ.

Why Should I Participate?

If you enroll in the Joint Admissions Agreement between CCRI and ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ, and complete an associates degree from an approved CCRI program, you'll receive:

• conditional acceptance to ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ
• a waived ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ application fee
• up to a 30% tuition reduction based on your CCRI GPA
• one-on-one advising at both CCRI and ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ
• the help needed for a stress-free transfer to ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ as a junior in the major you've specified

Am I Eligible?

You are eligible to apply if you have earned fewer than 30 credits at CCRI and have never attended another college or university. In order to make the transition from CCRI to ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ you need to have:

• completed your approved associates degree at CCRI with a cumulative GPA of 2.4 or higher
• submitted the intent to enroll form to ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ
• met all academic and non academic requirements for enrollment at ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ

Our transfer admissions team will work directly with CCRI to request your official transcript. You do not need to request your own CCRI transcript.
